Job Changes & Champions
Someone who already bought your product, or already championed it and lost the internal argument, is the warmest lead you will ever have. When they change jobs, they arrive somewhere new with budget, a mandate, and a memory of what worked.
Most teams find out about this by accident, months late, from a LinkedIn feed. This course makes it a tracked, scheduled pipeline.
About this course
Seven lessons in three blocks: build the champion list from data you already own, detect the move, then qualify and reach the person before the window closes.
The list build is nearly free — it comes out of your CRM. The cost is in lesson 03, which runs change detection across the full list, and it is the number worth planning around because it repeats every week.
Who it is for. Any team with history: existing customers, closed-lost deals, past evaluators. If you have been selling for more than a year, this course monetizes work you already did.
What it costs. Around 200 credits for the full course, then roughly 40 credits a week to keep 500 tracked people under watch.

Skills you will gain
- Explain why job changes convert several times better than cold, and prioritize accordingly
- Assemble a champion list from CRM, product data and closed-lost records
- Detect a real move and distinguish it from a title cleanup
- Use promotions as a second, quieter trigger inside existing accounts
- Qualify the new company before you spend anything on outreach
- Write the congrats message so it does not read as an automated congrats message
- Run the whole thing weekly without re-paying for people who have not moved

Qualify and reach
Qualifying the new company before enriching contact details is what keeps the weekly run cheap. A champion who moved to a company you cannot sell to is still a miss, however warm the relationship.

What you will have built
A champion tracker that runs without you:
- Three tracked populations — past customers, blocked champions, past evaluators
- A weekly change check across all three, billing only on people checked
- A qualification gate on the new employer, before any contact spend
- A verified address at the new company, per moved champion
- A message per population, because the three do not warrant the same email
Before you start
- A CRM export or contact list with history in it: customers, closed-lost, demo attendees. 200 names is enough to start.
- SyncGTM 101, or comfort with scheduled runs and conditional columns.
- Optionally Waterfall Enrichment — lesson 06 assumes you know why verification comes after the waterfall.
Three lists, not one
The course tracks three populations, and they need different messages:
- Past customers — used the product, know it works. Highest conversion, shortest cycle.
- Past champions who lost — wanted it, got blocked by budget or a competing priority. Arrive somewhere new without that blocker.
- Past evaluators — sat in the demos, did not decide. Lower intent, but they know what you do, which removes the hardest part of a cold message.
Lesson 02 builds all three from data you already have. Lesson 06 writes to each differently.
