- Takes the address only. It does not find addresses — use
work-emailorpersonal-emailfor that.

Tips
- Send only
Verifiedaddresses to a sequence.Unverifiedcovers both undeliverable and inconclusive results; treat it as “do not send” unless you have a separate reason to trust the address. Verifiedincludes catch-all domains. A catch-all server accepts mail for any address, so the check cannot prove the mailbox exists. For a high-stakes send, watch your bounce rate on those domains.- Verify close to send time. Addresses decay as people change jobs — a list verified six months ago needs another pass.
- Chain it after a find.
work-email→verify-emailis two requests and 1.2 credits for an address you can actually send to.
A malformed address is rejected with 400 invalid_request before any provider is called, so syntax errors never cost credits.
Errors
| Status | code | Typical cause |
|---|---|---|
| 400 | invalid_request | email missing or not a valid address |
| 402 | insufficient_credits | Balance below 0.2 credits |
All codes are on the Errors page.
